Portman has been providing groups, meetings & conferencing services for more than 10 years, and in 2008 alone, the division has expanded fivefold. This reflects a growing trend in demand for these services and is a testament to the dedication of the team.
This increase has come not only from new clients, but also from our existing clients, as having used our services, they to do so time and again. In fact, 80% of our business is repeat business.
The team utilises their specialist knowledge and expertise by work closely with clients to ensure all objectives for the event are successfully met. They are able to plan, organise and implement corporate events of any size and to any worldwide destination.

Budget & spend – establishing a scale of authorisation to control budgets and spend by location, or by size or nature of the event.
Consolidation processes – a complete travel policy can be mandated along with processes and procedures including clear guidelines and accounting instructions.
Relationships – established relationships with leading conference venues and major hotel chains including negotiating additional benefits over and above the standard offering.
Management Information (MI) - MI will enable examination of past volumes and expenditure in terms of geographical area and hotel. This can then be used to strategically forward plan for future events, to bring best value and quality.
